Check Out Chris Cornell Performing Metallica/U2 'One' Mash-Up
Chris Cornell is known for delivering excellent cover versions. Earlier this year, we reported on his magnificent version of Sinead O' Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U." Now, he's at it again, only this time with a twist.

As Loudwire reports, Cornell recently performed a live mash-up of Metallica's and U2's "One" after being inspired by Googling lyrics for the latter. Searching for the words to the U2 track by typing "One Lyrics" into the search engine, the first result that came up was the Metallica track. So Cornell decided to see how James Hetfield's words would fit to U2's music. Check out the results below:

That actually works a lot better than we thought it would. Hats off to Cornell for another unique cover version.

Last month, Cornell told Total Guitar that he would be open to an Audioslave reunion, stating it would be "a really amazing experience":

"We did a lot of songs, and with the benefit of having not done anything with those guys for so long, I can't imagine what it would be. It would be a really amazing experience just to get back and work with the same guys again.

"We were certainly a prolific group of people; we wrote three whole albums in around five years, maybe less. And these were albums that were raw, and we had extra material, and we just never seemed to have trouble ever trying to agree on what would come out of the songs.
